Al Clements is an ordained minister who has a heart for the "Lost and Hurting". His ministries consist of several different callings, but all culminate in Christ.

He has two prison ministries in Georgia and offers private counseling in both excessive (obsessive) compulsive behavior and substance abuse counseling; he pastors "New Beginnings Church" and interdenominational church in Martin, Georgia; is on the board of New Beginnings Ministry, a residential program for women in substance abuse; and is the ministry counselor and teacher of the Word in the program.

He has writing a study book, The Elementary Teachings of Christ, and teaches it on Thursday afternoons at the ministry as well as Tuesday nights in Athens, Georgia. On Thursday evenings Pastor Al is the director of Overcomers Ministries in Athens, Georgia.

All of the ministries he is involved in, including the church, are voluntary and he receives no salary for his callings. Pastor Al is bi-vocational and his income is earned from his new car sales at Heyward Allen Motors in Athens, Georgia.

All who know him know that his motto is, "We welcome anyone who has a sincere desire to change."
